Company History
Founded in 1975, by Dwight and Anita Luton, Clarksville Fencing still follows the same philosophy: providing high-quality products and installation, timely service, and honest business practices. Clarksville Fencing, originally located on Providence Boulevard, provided both hardware supplies and fence products and installation until the end of 1991, when the hardware supplies were discontinued in order to concentrate on our core business – residential and commercial fence solutions.
Incorporated in 1995 as T.F.C., Clarksville Fencing ownership soon changed to Anthony Luton, Joey Myers and Lori L. Smith. In 1997, we relocated to Dunbar Cave Road and in 2018 we moved to our present location of 5216 Guthrie Hwy.
Continuing to serve the middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky communities, Clarksville Fencing is pleased to offer our customers superior fence solutions. Working with Clarksville Fencing, our customers have confidence that we’re working in their best interest, offering suggestions on how to improve their fence layout and reduce costs.
Management Team
Tony Patterson
Joining Clarksville Fencing in 1992, Tony has worked in every aspect of our operations. He manages the majority of our residential projects as well as most commercial and local government projects. Tony’s eye for detail has assisted many of our customers in developing their fence project, while minimizing the impact on their budget.
For Tony and his wife Misty, most evenings and weekends are spent attending their sons’ sporting events, either at Clarksville High School, or the latest locale of the travel baseball team which Tony coaches.
Lori Smith
After spending most her childhood playing among the hardware and fence materials and ‘working’ for the company by licking envelopes and stamps, Lori returned to Clarksville Fencing to continue her family’s business. She’s excited to impact the company differently from her parents and older brother.
Lori received her bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay State University, MBA from Murray State University and MMFT from Trevecca Nazarene University; she spent her career in various corporate roles prior to returning to Clarksville Fencing in 2010. She and her husband, Shane, spend most of their spare time involved in their children’s athletics and activities. Avid sports fans, they’re never too far away from a game – whether their child’s game, a local school, or on television. Their family is active in First Baptist Church of St Bethlehem.
